But here’s the interesting part. Even though they say they don’t care about politics, they are very quick to blame politicians. When something goes wrong in the country, like poor roads, unemployment, corruption, or rising prices, they are the first ones to complain. You sit in class, but suddenly the electricity goes out, and the fan stops working. It’s hot, and you feel angry. Later that evening, you or a family member ends up in a government hospital. But sadly, the hospital doesn’t have the right machines or doctors. You feel helpless. Now stop and think—what is the link between all these things?
Yes, it’s politics. The poor water system, traffic jams, electricity cuts, and weak hospitals are all results of political decisions or a lack of action. It’s not just bad luck. It’s bad management. And that bad management is often connected to who we choose as our leaders. Every decision made at the top affects the lives of people at the bottom. So even if you don’t care about politics, politics still affects you every single day.
This is why young people should not ignore politics. You don’t have to be a political expert. You don’t have to join a political party. But you must be aware. You must learn what is happening around you. Who is in power? What decisions are they making? How does it affect your future? These questions are important.
Your vote is your voice. It’s your power. It can bring in better leaders or remove the ones who failed. Instead of just complaining about the system, take part in it. Use your right to vote. Make informed choices. Learn, ask questions, and don’t blindly follow others.
Politicians are smart. They often use emotional stories, fake promises, or social media tricks to get your support. Even if you have a degree in psychology or science, they can still play with your emotions if you are not alert. That’s why you must think with logic, not just feelings.
In the end, politics is not just about speeches, parties, or leaders. It’s about your road, your school, your job, your health, your rights, and your future. So why stay silent? Why stay blind?
